Occupational Health & Safety Resources
Midwives face a variety of physical hazards on the job. These can vary based on what type of setting a midwife works in. If you require accommodations or physical supports to help mitigate or address risks to your physical wellbeing and work within a broader organization such as a hospital or community health centre, you may contact your local occupational health and safety office. If you are working in caseload midwifery, you can explore the supports available through the funding agreement, including Schedule R.
