The AOM is committed to providing accessible learning to members across Ontario, and offers a variety of online learning opportunities. Midwives can access continuing education courses when their schedule permits, without the travel time or expense of attending an in person workshop. Many of the courses that the AOM offers can serve as an ongoing resource, with many valuable documents available to support midwives in day-to-day practice.
The AOM offers both eLearning courses and webinars to members through our new Online Learning Management system, Litmos. If you already have a Litmos account, click here to login.
Webinars are live presentations hosted by the AOM, which feature an expert speaker on the webinar topic. To find a list of upcoming webinars, check out our events listing page; for quick access, tick “Webinars” in the left hand box (under “Event Type”) to filter out your search results. Access to AOM webinars is one of the many benefits of membership. If you are not a member of the AOM, you can register for upcoming webinars for $35 each, which includes access to the live presentation and includes complimentary access to the recording on Litmos for six months after the event.
Webinar registration is powered by Zapier. Connect the apps you work with everyday.
Did you miss one of our webinars? The AOM makes most presentations available online after the webinar as a resource on Litmos. Access to recorded webinars is included in your membership fees with the AOM. If you are not a member of the AOM, you can purchase six months of access to one of our webinars for $35.
Members can browse our collection of recorded webinars here.
Non-Members can purchase a selection of recorded webinars here.
New eLearning courses are also offered by the AOM, both in-house modules and external opportunities provided by other healthcare organizations. eLearnings are available to complete by module, which allows midwives to complete courses while accommodating their personal schedule.
AOM created eLearnings are included in your membership fees and can be accessed here.
